Child care providers are responsible to maintain CACFP requirements to ensure claims are valid for payment. Many new changes will be listed in updates and reminders listed in up coming newsletters, CACFP News link, Child Care Training link and the New Child Care Manual.  Be proactive and read/review for updates!

Reimbursement checks are provided after meals have been served and menu claims are submitted for processing, which takes several weeks.  The process of payment will be delay when compared to past payments. Checks will likely come the last part of each month, possibly even the first of the following month.

The state does have a 45 day window to provide payment, therefore the checks have never been late.  Just later than we are all used to.

We are in this together ! Let's be professional!
